Membership Process

Many private clubs have rigorous and intimidating steps to become a member, but Evanston Golf Club is here to make the process as easy as possible while making you feel welcome. Applicants can come tour the club with the General Manager to learn more about the membership options, club culture, and to find out if Evanston is a good fit for you and your family.

Next, the formal process begins, which should only take generally two months to complete. The applicants fill out an application and give permission for a background and credit check. They must also obtain two sponsors and two endorsers who have been members at the club for more than a year. The sponsors must be Resident members. If you don’t know anyone at the club, the Membership Coordinator or General Manager will assist you in making the necessary connections.

All applications are then reviewed by the membership committee. The applicants and their spouses, along with the sponsors and endorsers, will be invited to meet with the committee. After the meeting, the committee makes its recommendations for approval at the monthly Board of Directors meeting. The applicants are then notified of the final decision by the Membership Coordinator. Upon acceptance, a new member will join our General Manager for a full orientation which will provide you all you need to know to enjoy the club to its fullest.

This membership process will allow you to become well informed and comfortable using all of the amenities provided here at EGC. We encourage anyone who is interested to reach out to the Membership Coordinator, Krissy Estrada, at krissy.rizzo@evanstongolfclub.org or the General Manager, Bryan Polletta, at bryan.polletta@evanstongolfclub.org to learn more.
